Submission Information for Contributing Authors

We welcome submissions from action research educators that highlight personal experiences. As a result, the submitted blog post should be written in first person.
Research based articles can be submitted to our newsletter.

Contributing Authors

  • Email a Word file to our gmail account actionreachteaching. Include “submission” in the subject line.
  • Include relevant contact information (title, institution, position).
  • Receipt of your submission will be acknowledged within 48 hours.
  • Feedback on your submission will be provided within 2-3 weeks.
  • Typically, submissions will be reformatted and edited for mobile friendly readability.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Use APA formatting for intext citations and references.
  • Include all relevant urls for appropriate credit.
  • Graphics may be submitted, however they must be labeled as non-comercial re-use.
  • Do not send an image (png, jpg) unless you created it.
  • The use of clip art is discouraged.
  • Names of students should be blinded, unless written permission is secured by the contributing author.
  • Do not include page numbers or footnotes.
  • Within a paragraph, use one space after the period.
